Hulman Center is the place to be this weekend for two days of Sycamore Hoopla.
Before the women's 7 p.m. matchup with Missouri State Friday, view the windows that have been decorated by the ISU community, enjoy music and dance of the Sycamore Basketball Band and the ISU Sparkettes, and see alumnus and former Olympic bobsledder Bruce Rosselli's competition bobsled and equipment on display on the concourse commemorating the opening of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Doors open at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, take part in the second annual Polar Plunge, a fundraiser for Special Olympics Indiana, at Hulman Center's south patio. Registration begins at 8 a.m., a $5 biscuits and gravy breakfast sponsored by the Knights of Columbus starts at 8:30 a.m. and plunging begins at 9:30 a.m. Awards will be given for the best costume, most money raised by an individual and most money raised by a team and a special campus challenge award will be given for the largest campus group of plungers.
Then join Kevin McKenna's squad Saturday at 2 p.m. as they take on the Drake Bulldogs. Four former student athletes and a former ISU coach, recently inducted into the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame, will be honored during halftime ceremonies.
