Students, faculty and members of the community were honored during the International Programs and Services Awards Banquet Thursday, March 24, in Dede I of Hulman Memorial Student Union. Janis Halpert, study abroad program coordinator, received the Lloyd Benjamin Medal of International Services. Other award recipients included: Youssef Aachoui, Global Scholar & Citizenship Award; Amnah Altaha, Global Scholar & Citizenship Award; Ting Yu, International Student Community Engagement Award; David Fuson, Study Abroad Scholar Award; Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Outstanding International Student Organization; Dr. Prodip K. Dutta, Faculty International Recognition Award; Cunningham Memorial Library; International Service Award; Global Indiana; Community Global Engagement Award; Rotary Club Of Terre Haute, Community Global Engagement Award; Dr. John Conant, Unsung Hero Award; and Lia Duret Velasco, Unsung Hero Award.
