Japanese musician Agatsuma infused the traditional sound of the long-necked, three-stringed shamisen with contemporary musical influences of blues, rock, dance music, folk, flamenco, and funk during his performance in the University Hall Theater. The event was hosted by Arts Illiana, Indiana Arts Commission, the Crossroads of Higher Education at the Crossroads of America, and Arts Midwest WorldFest.
